Silia Kapsis

Silia is an 18-year-old triple threat, born and raised in Sydney and of Greek and Cypriot descent.

On 25 September 2023, at just sixteen years old, Silia was announced as the Cypriot entrant for Eurovision 2024.

Eurovision Song Contest in Malmo, Sweden 2024 -  Silia had the honor of opening the first semi-final of Eurovision 2024, setting the tone for the entire competition. She delivered a show-stopping performance on the world stage in front of 163 million viewers, earning her a place in the Grand Final, with her song "LIAR".

Silia has performed in numerous countries all over the world. Countries include, Australia, Greece, Cyprus, Sweden, Netherlands, Denmark, Spain, Poland, Los Angeles and the UK.

Silia is known for her multifaceted talents in singing, dancing, and acting, and continues to make waves in the entertainment industry at a young age.

Evolution of her Story -

Silia has been performing since the age of 4 and has had extensive training with elite artists at the top of their respective fields.

As a singer, Silia has been the lead singer for the Australian Youth Performing Arts Company, recurrent lead of numerous events throughout Sydney and worldwide, including being solo performer for Hollywood Star, Alex Russell at his exclusive 30th Birthday Event in Los Angeles.

Performing however, was just the beginning. Her love for music flourished into releasing her debut song, "Who Am I ?" in 2022, which she primarily wrote and composed at the age of 12. Silia then went on to release “No Boys Allowed" in March 2023, "Disco Dancer" in May 2023, “Night Out” in November 2023, her Eurovision song, "Liar" and "Red Flag" in 2024 . Her latest single, "What's Your Name Again" was released in March 2025.

As a dancer, Silia has danced with world-renowned choreographers in Australia and the USA, has performed in their dance projects, danced with Stephen tWitch Boss on the Jennifer Hudson Show and was filmed by Taboo (Black Eyed Peas) for his dance documentary.

As an actor, Silia was cast as the lead role Zoe, in her debut short film Pearly Gates and has worked on various television projects for Nickelodeon. Silia has been one of Nickelodeon's regular Nick News Hosts, which saw her team get nominated for a Nickelodeon Kid's Choice Award in 2023.
